A prayer inspired by Jesus sending his disciples

Lord Jesus Christ, you sent Your disciples to go into all the world, to preach the Gospel, cast out demons, and baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
 

We, too, respond to Your call with faith and love.

Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so that we may be Your witnesses everywhere, proclaiming Your word with power and living it with love.

We pray for those in darkness, that they may see Your light, and for those in bondage, that they may be set free in Your name.

Make us instruments of Your peace and truth.

Let not fear hinder our mission, but strengthen our faith and send us where You will, so the world may know that You are the living Savior and Deliverer.
