Holy Saturday Prayer

O Lord of the sacred silence, you who lay in the tomb in the flesh, and descended to Hades to free the souls, on this quiet day, we wait for Your Resurrection with a hope that does not fade.
 

Teach me to believe in Your work even when I cannot see it, to trust your presence in my silence, in my weakness, in my waiting.

You who turned death into life, enter the tomb within me—my fear, my despair— and lead me out into the light of Your glorious Resurrection.

Help me, Lord, to live this day in reverence, to prepare for the dawn that never ends, for You are the Light that never fades, the Hope that never fails.
