Lenten Prayer

Lord my God, In this holy season of Lent, I offer You my repentant heart.
 

Cleanse me from my sins and kindle within me the fire of true repentance.

Teach me to live according to Your will, to fast not only from food, but from all evil and unkind thoughts.

Grant me, O Jesus, the grace to follow You to Calvary, to contemplate Your crucified love, and be renewed by Your glorious Resurrection.

Amen.
