Prayers

May all I do today begin with you, O Lord.

Lord Jesus, During this Advent time of waiting, In my heart, may I prepare To welcome You on Christmas Day And Your love find ways to share.

Lord Jesus, You are with us always; may I never ignore Your love.

Lord, our Savior, In joy-filled anticipation, I come to You in prayer, Filled with renewed hope in the love You came to share.

Heavenly Father, In Your loving and gracious plan for me, Help me never to go astray, Following Jesus in humility, Who from His birth showed me the way.

Jesus, You counted on Saint Peter to respond exuberantly.

Lord, when Your will is shown to me, As to the Virgin Mary, May I answer, "Let it be done," And treasure the blessings that come to be.

May candles on the Advent wreath and lights on the Christmas tree Remind me that You are Light for the world, Shining here and for eternity.

Gracious Father, In this Advent time, may I see more clearly That you created me with purpose in Your plan.

Saint Nicholas, Giver of God's gifts and His helping hand, Please pray that children will eagerly receive The spirit of giving You help us to know, Rooted in faith and generosity.
